Midnight licence

Version 1.0 · October 2026

This license is between you and the seller you bought Midnight from ("we"). "The Template" means the files you received, including later updates. If the marketplace you bought it on has its own license for templates, that license applies first, and this one covers only what it leaves out.

You may

• Build any number of websites with the Template, for yourself or for clients.
• Change it in any way, combine it with your own work, and keep your changes private.
• Use it commercially, including on sites you are paid to build. Your client may own and run the finished site.

You may not

• Sell, give away, sublicense or share the Template, or a modified version of it, as a template, theme, starter kit, UI kit or code library, whether paid or free.
• Publish the Template's source code where others can copy it, such as a public repository. A public website built with the Template is fine: its built pages are not the source.
• Use the Template to make another template or theme that competes with it.

Parts made by others

Some parts of the Template are made by others and come under their own licenses, listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md: the shadcn/ui components (MIT) and the fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1). Nothing in this license limits your rights under those licenses.

Demo content

Every company, person, quote, number and logo in the Template is a fictional placeholder, and the Privacy Policy and Terms are placeholder text, not legal advice. Replace them before you launch: see "Before you launch" in README.md, and run npm run launch-check.

No warranty

The Template is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damages arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Ending

If you break these terms, your license ends. Websites you launched while following them may stay online.
